Twisted Sister Embraces Heavy Metal Transformation.
The legendary hard rock band continues its journey without longtime frontman Dee Snider, as another iconic voice takes over the microphone.
The band announced Tuesday on social media that former Skyscraper vocalist Sebastian Bach will take the helm as frontman for select 2026 performances.
“Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda are thrilled to announce that iconic singer and frontman Sebastian Bach will serve as the band's vocalist for select dates this fall,” the official statement read.
“These appearances will not impact Sebastian's current or future solo tour schedule, nor will they conflict with it, which remains intact.”

Bach recently described stepping into Twisted Sister as an emotional handover.
Tim McGraw nearly abandoned his career after serious illness
Bach revealed what Snyder told him about the health struggles that forced him off the road.
“Then I asked him, ‘What did the doctor tell him?’ He said, ‘No problem, I'll tell you. He said he had arthritis, his legs, his knees were messed up, he was like bone on bone. The doctor said he shouldn't be jumping around, and he said, 'Well, that's not an option.’” ...The doctor said, ‘You can't do this,’" Bach shared on Sirius XM.
He said Snyder gave his blessing to join the Twisted Sister organization.
“So he said, ‘I give you my full blessing.’” He said, ‘I love you.’ I told him I loved him. We were both teary-eyed. ... He told me his family cried when he said he couldn't tour. Getting old is hard. It's tough. It's hard for everyone to get old."
Last month, Snyder (70) abruptly retired and stepped down from his band duties due to worsening health issues.
In February this year, he revealed he suffers from degenerative arthritis and has undergone multiple surgeries.

Twisted Sister first announced the cancellation of their anniversary shows via an Instagram statement.
The band's statement read: “Due to the sudden and unexpected resignation of Twisted Sister's lead singer Dee Snider, stemming from a series of health issues, the band is forced to cancel all scheduled performances, beginning with the April 25th show in Brazil (São Paulo) and extending throughout the summer.”
A subsequent statement released on the band's website on February 5 revealed further details about Snider's condition.
“A lifetime of legendary aggressive performances has taken a toll on Dee Snider's body and soul,” it stated.

“To make matters worse, Dee recently learned that his dedication to his life's work has also taken a toll on his heart. He can no longer push the boundaries of rock ‘n’ roll rage like he did for decades. ‘I don't know any other way to rock,’ Snyder said. ‘The idea of slowing down is more unacceptable than actually slowing down.’”
“To borrow Dirty Harry's immortal line, ‘A man has to know his limitations.’ Unfortunately, Dee Snider now knows his.”
